About the Role
Key responsibilities include understanding the scope of work, creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, and loading resources to match approved budgets. The specialist monitors job progress, conducts schedule analysis, and issues weekly look‑ahead and man‑hour reports to the project team. Coordination with departmental leads, participation in weekly review meetings, and expediting deliverables to address unforeseen conditions are also essential duties. Additional tasks involve preparing weekly and monthly performance reports and aligning project schedules with client master schedules. • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P3/P6 and Microsoft Project • Load resources and allocate work hours according to approved budgets • Monitor job progress, conduct schedule analysis, and issue weekly lookahead and manhour reports • Coordinate with departmental leads and participate in weekly review meetings • Expedite deliverables, adjust schedules for unforeseen conditions, and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports • Ensure alignment of project schedules with client master schedules • Perform risk analysis and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, subcontractors, and senior management

What You Bring
The Sr. Specialist I, Scheduling/Planning role requires approximately 15 years of experience in project scheduling and planning. The position is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive project schedules. It plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of Primavera P3/P6 and Microsoft Project, as well as experience with construction project scheduling, resource loading, and risk analysis. Strong interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with all project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and senior management. The role demands excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication abilities, along with a detail‑oriented approach to project management. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Process Engineering—or an equivalent qualification—is required.
