About the Role
The Security Manager for the City Name site will oversee all safety and security functions, preventing lapses and acting as the first responder to emergencies. Key duties include security planning, risk assessment, and developing effective guarding strategies. You will report directly to the Property Manager and work closely with the site team, which may include a property manager and additional staff. The role is based on‑site in Mumbai, Maharashtra, with a scheduled 48‑hour work week. • Supervise security staff, assign tasks, and provide training in procedures, customer service, life safety, and first aid. • Maintain and update security policies, checklists, and procedure manuals. • Operate building security panels and ensure compliance with fire and life‑safety codes. • Manage manpower records, training, compliance documents, and scheduling for on‑roll and contract staff. • Conduct weekly fire drills for security and unit staff. • Patrol designated areas, monitor surveillance, access control points, and alarms; investigate incidents and prepare reports. • Track material movement and manage lost‑and‑found inventory. • Communicate regularly with property manager, team members, and clients about events, incidents, and staffing needs. • Interview, approve, and hire contract security personnel. • Provide customer‑related briefings to site employees. • Lead weekly meetings with vendor operations and share minutes with property manager and client. • Review after‑hours security reports and monitor staff performance. • Coordinate emergency response, arrange medical transport, and liaise with local authorities. • Draft disaster‑management plans in cooperation with site team and property manager. • Participate in performance and behavior meetings for contract staff. • Prepare and manage security budgets and staffing costs.

What You Bring
We are looking for an analytical and meticulous professional who can build, maintain, and validate the performance of subordinate security staff. Integrity and logical problem‑solving are essential for both short‑term and long‑term security needs. Candidates must hold a degree and have 5 to 8 years of security experience, preferably in the relevant property type such as residential or commercial.
