About the Role

The position involves coordinating input from multiple product groups, developing bids, resolving inquiries, and maintaining clear communication throughout the order lifecycle. By prioritizing varied projects, you will help ensure timely responses and equitable solutions for customers, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of power transmission and distribution systems. • Execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking, and timely inquiry response. • Coordinate orders with local business units and communicate delivery timelines. • Develop bids and proposals that meet customer requirements using Hitachi Energy tools. • Write and revise proposal and contract documents, compiling data on scope, cost, and profitability. • Participate in customer and internal meetings to exchange information and review contract terms. • Investigate technical issues and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence. • Process change orders and assist with collection of overdue invoices. • Provide periodic reports on outstanding orders, vendor‑managed inventory, and blanket order management. • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

What You Bring

Candidates must have work authorization in the United States, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, and 3–5 years of customer support experience in industrial, EPC, utility, or related sectors. General knowledge of power transmission and distribution products is required, with preferred experience in power generation. Experience with B2B customer support, CRMs, SAP, Salesforce, and the Microsoft Office suite is also desired.
