About the Role

• Attend and complete formal and on‑the‑job training • Complete all homework assignments to meet apprenticeship requirements • Maintain a log of on‑the‑job training activities • Build professional relationships with colleagues and clients • Observe health and safety procedures • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures • Participate in onsite training to learn new tools, equipment, and procedures • Perform general physical labor and operate hand and power tools such as air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, hoists, and surveying equipment • Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces, erect scaffolding, and remove debris • Adhere to business standards, follow rules, and comply with legal regulations • Assist other craft workers as needed • Meet hard deadlines and work to strict schedules • Take reasonable care of own and others’ health and safety, supporting Zero Injury principles

What You Bring

The apprenticeship offers on‑the‑job learning under a journeyman, beginning with core construction skills such as site safety orientation, construction math, hand and power tools, drawings, rigging, communication, confined‑space awareness, fall protection, and first aid/CPR/AED. Upon successful completion, apprentices can advance into specialized areas like industrial, wind, and solar construction. • Exhibit enthusiasm to learn • Pass all tests, presentations, and required evaluations • Solve problems and think critically to resolve issues • Follow instructions clearly and work well as part of a team • High school diploma or GED required • Must be at least 18 years of age • Experience using basic power tools preferred • Ability to travel and work away from home for the apprenticeship duration • Ability to perform tasks as directed by journeyman • Written and verbal communication skills
