About the Role

This Associate role supports one of Portland’s leading industrial brokerage teams in business development, market research, and client service. You will help drive new opportunities, prepare for client engagements, and contribute to leasing and sales assignments throughout the Portland Metro industrial market. As an Associate you will learn the foundations of industrial real‑estate brokerage while supporting senior leaders in business development, market research, and transaction execution. Responsibilities include researching market trends and available industrial spaces, supporting the creation of pitch materials and client meeting preparations, generating and qualifying new business leads, conducting cold‑calling outreach, and tracking key market indicators such as vacancy, absorption, rents, comps, and construction activity. You will build a foundational understanding of industrial asset classes, logistics drivers, and the Portland industrial landscape while thriving in a fast‑paced, competitive sales environment. • Research market trends, available industrial spaces, tenant activity, and ownership data. • Support development of pitch decks, proposals, and client meeting materials. • Generate and qualify new business leads through research and outreach. • Conduct cold‑calling to expand the team’s pipeline. • Track key market indicators such as vacancy rates, absorption, rents, comparable transactions, and construction activity. • Engage in a fast‑paced, competitive sales environment with resilience and persistence.

Compensation follows a draw/commission structure: a guaranteed $40,000 draw in year 1 with additional commissions based on production, and increased commission‑earning potential in years 2 and 3 as you build a personal client pipeline.
