About the Role
• Perform new construction, maintenance, and repair of energized and de‑energized overhead distribution systems. • Lead, coach, and train crew members in safe and productive work procedures, including hot‑stick operations. • Conduct pre‑job or tailgate briefings and plan safe work based on job prints or work orders. • String overhead wire, set poles and anchors, and install transformers, arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches, and switchgear. • Troubleshoot and supervise troubleshooting of primary and secondary systems, replace cutout fuses, and clear faulted circuits. • Identify primary and secondary voltages, manage induced voltage, properly sag wire, and phase circuits through substations. • Apply grounding procedures, flag and tag protocols, and correctly use PPE and cover‑up equipment. • Perform work at heights and in confined spaces, climb various structures, and operate equipment safely. • Execute reconductoring jobs, install/remove mechanical jumpers, and use load‑bust tools and phasing sticks. • Obtain one‑shot recloser operation and request line clearances as needed. • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order. • Complete required paperwork, adhere to company reporting procedures, and work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.

What You Bring
The Foreman is a skilled position responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems. This role works at various locations and may require travel to another state depending on customer demands. The position demands frequent standing, walking, climbing, and lifting over 50 pounds while working outdoors in all weather conditions. Employees are regularly exposed to noise, fumes, high‑voltage equipment, and other physical hazards associated with construction sites. • Meet minimum 5 years recent field experience, possess a CDL, and lift over 50 lb. • Communicate effectively in English, travel long distances on short notice, and work extended periods in various locations. • Demonstrate self‑motivation, teamwork, customer focus, and compliance with all safety rules and company policies.
