About the Role

The Project Manager oversees the development of master plans, land‑use studies, zoning codes, and other planning deliverables, ensuring quality control and adherence to profit and productivity targets. They lead project teams, coordinate schedules, manage budgets, and serve as the primary liaison with clients on scope changes. • Prepare work plans, labor budgets, and schedule milestones for project approval. • Track and control capital costs to meet client and productivity goals. • Facilitate public, coordination, and community engagement meetings. • Produce master plans, land‑use studies, zoning codes, and other planning documents. • Ensure quality control/assurance across all project deliverables. • Achieve profit, productivity, and deadline targets set for each project. • Contribute to proposals, business development, and cross‑disciplinary selling. • Define project teams, work packages, evaluation methods, and effort estimates. • Lead regular team meetings and enforce review/approval procedures. • Negotiate scope changes with clients and obtain supervisory approval. • Coordinate billing, authorize invoices, and follow up on client payments. • Mentor junior staff in technical and business best practices. • Maintain Professional Planning (P.P.) licensure and A.I.C.P. certification.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field (master’s preferred) and possess 6‑10+ years of planning experience, along with professional planning licensure (P.P.) and A.I.C.P. certification. Required skills include advanced analytical, research, technical writing, GIS and software proficiency, strong leadership, and the ability to travel to client sites. • Hold a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and 6‑10+ years of planning experience. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, ArcGIS, and related software.

The position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $150,855 per year, dependent on qualifications.
