About the Role

In this role you will be part of a customer‑focused team, representing Reliance professionally on every call while learning and developing your electrical expertise. You will handle a variety of residential electrical tasks, provide accurate estimates, prioritize work to meet deadlines, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. • Diagnose and repair residential electrical systems, including fault‑finding, panel changes, generator installation, knob‑and‑tube removal, and rewiring. • Estimate repair costs accurately and communicate the solution to homeowners. • Prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines. • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, service, and equipment installation according to manufacturer specifications. • Follow all safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements. • Conduct general and specific equipment inspections. • Educate customers on electrical work and Reliance services. • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of modern equipment and regulations.

What You Bring

We are looking for a licensed electrician with at least two years of residential experience, a clean Class 5 driver’s licence, and the physical ability to perform the work. Candidates should demonstrate a growth mindset, strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving and customer‑service skills. Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing or mechanics is considered an asset. • Licensed electrician with at least 2 years residential experience. • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving abstract. • Physically capable of performing job duties. • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and customer‑service skills. • Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing or mechanics considered an asset.
