About the Role
The Community Manager oversees all aspects of a housing community’s operations under the guidance of a Regional Manager. Responsibilities include personnel management, leasing, maintenance, financial oversight, administration, and risk management, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing regulations. • Recruit, train, coach, and supervise on‑site staff; manage schedules and address performance issues. • Develop and monitor annual operating budgets, rent collections, vendor invoicing, and financial reporting to maximize net operating income. • Create and execute yearly marketing and leasing plans; show, lease, and move in residents while handling complaints and retention programs. • Oversee administrative and maintenance functions; ensure accurate reporting, timely repairs, emergency response, and efficient resource procurement. • Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, fair‑housing laws, OSHA requirements, and risk‑management guidelines.

What You Bring
• Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1–2 years housing industry experience; CAM or ARM certification preferred. • Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of fair‑housing regulations are required. • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lb, navigate ladders, work overtime, and be on‑call; reliable transportation required.
