About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support our engineering team in turning innovative designs into reality. The intern will assist with prototyping, testing, data collection, and coordinate cross‑functional engineering efforts throughout the full development lifecycle of unmanned aerial systems. This is a 12‑week, full‑time internship based at our headquarters in San Diego, CA.

What You Bring

To comply with U.S. export control regulations (ITAR/EAR), candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or otherwise eligible to obtain the required authorizations. • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Software, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related field. • U.S. Person status (citizen or permanent resident) required due to ITAR regulations. • Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and projects. • Effective communication and collaborative work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment. • Experience in project coordination or support. • Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, iterative development settings. • Technical background in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering (preferred). • Hands‑on experience with lab equipment, prototyping, or assembly work (plus). • Familiarity with DoD or aerospace processes (plus). • Export control compliance requiring U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Compensation is hourly, ranging from $28 to $32, with actual pay reflecting experience, education, and market factors.
