About the Role
The HSE Specialist will play a key role in promoting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. While the role is primarily site‑based at Kirkhill, Aberdeen, the specialist will also contribute to HSE improvement projects across other Aberdeen‑area locations. In this role you will ensure workforce well‑being and on‑site HSE compliance, building relationships with cross‑functional teams to meet requirements. You will support teams in implementing solutions and drive continuous HSE improvement. • Support GeoZone HSE initiatives through cross‑functional collaboration. • Provide on‑site HSE support and drive standardisation across Aberdeen‑area sites. • Manage compliance processes, including packaging, SPI data collection, and reporting. • Collect and analyse HSE performance data to identify trends and drive improvement. • Deliver HSE training, inductions, awareness sessions, and system coaching (e.g., Intelex, SharePoint). • Engage employees on site to promote positive HSE behaviours and strengthen safety culture. • Facilitate risk/COSHH assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response planning.

What You Bring
• Relevant degree or high‑school diploma with substantial HSE experience and NEBOSH General Certificate. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. • Familiarity with HSE management systems and digital reporting tools. • Strong oral and written communication abilities. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. • Proactive, authoritative, self‑starter mindset.
