About the Role

• Conduct feasibility studies, develop procurement strategies, and prepare procurement and contract reports. • Lead value management activities and manage estimating and cost planning, including ownership of final cost plans. • Support contractor procurement and prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses. • Administer contract terms, measure works, value variations, and provide ongoing cost control and reporting. • Prepare financial reports, identify all project‑related costs, and evaluate contractor claims for delays or additional costs. • Manage practical completion, defect resolution, and negotiation of final accounts. • Drive continuous improvement, enhance systems and processes, and mentor junior team members. • Build strong stakeholder relationships, manage stakeholders effectively, and contribute to net zero carbon initiatives. • Safety first – champion a safe, diverse, and inclusive environment, prioritising wellbeing. • Client focus – deliver high‑quality outcomes and build long‑term client relationships. • Create opportunity – foster continuous improvement and inspire people to develop.

What You Bring

Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey. • Hold a degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalent. • Possess professional membership or be working towards MRICS/RICS, or demonstrate equivalent professional development. • Demonstrate commercial and financial acumen. • Know value engineering, life‑cycle costing, contract law and construction contractual frameworks. • Experience managing parts of projects within large, diverse teams. • Experience developing relationships with senior stakeholders.
