About the Role
• Remove, disassemble, assemble, and install components and parts. • Identify problems and causes of failure through logical troubleshooting. • Determine part reusability according to Caterpillar guidelines. • Order correct replacement parts promptly. • Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components. • Test, measure, and adjust engine and machine systems. • Prepare, inspect, and operate machines prior to delivery. • Install, test, and adjust new machine attachments. • Maintain rental fleet equipment. • Stay current with tooling, technologies, and systems. • Prepare inspection and appraisal reports. • Generate accurate, timely service reports. • Maintain professional appearance per company policy. • Maintain sufficient tool inventory for assigned tasks.

What You Bring
Milton CAT is seeking experienced Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, recondition, overhaul, and maintain customer and company heavy equipment and components. Technicians may work in shop or field roles within the Earthmoving and Power Systems divisions, handling a range of duties that can include emergency calls or routine service.
