Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, assessing customer storage needs and recommending solutions, including selling packing and moving supplies. They conduct daily unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, audit cash drawers, make bank deposits, and keep customers current with payments by issuing reminder and collection calls when required. Physical duties include lifting or moving items up to 35 pounds, walking around facilities and spending up to 50 % of time outdoors, climbing stairs, and opening large doors. Managers also perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping interior areas, and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal. • Assess customers' storage needs and recommend solutions, including selling packing supplies. • Perform daily unit inspections to ensure availability. • Audit cash drawers and complete bank deposits. • Manage payment collections and issue reminder calls. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and spend up to 50 % of time outdoors, including stairs and large doors. • Conduct cleaning, sweeping/mopping, and maintain exterior grounds. • Provide customer service experience from retail, restaurant, or similar environments.
