About the Role
The role focuses on developing and communicating key company positions to government agencies, industry organizations and other stakeholders while supporting Hitachi’s global business interests. It also contributes to the government‑relations communication strategy, ensuring coherent internal and external messaging and sustaining dialogue with authorities on public policy, regulatory and legislative issues. • Research and analyze state legislative discussions on environmental, privacy, safety, and tax regulations. • Identify and pursue state‑level funding opportunities such as subsidies and tax credits. • Manage relationships with local industry associations and state economic development corporations. • Build and maintain connections with state and local communities. • Support business units in expanding Hitachi’s market presence. • Develop and communicate company positions to government agencies, industry groups, and stakeholders. • Contribute to internal and external government‑relations communication strategy for cohesive messaging.
