About the Role
The Senior Facility Asset Manager (SFAM) position with Ventia is based in South Australia’s Greater Metro region and supports the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA). The role leads maintenance delivery and minor projects within the JPOP portfolio while mentoring a team of Facility Asset Managers. This role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on operational excellence to achieve high‑quality outcomes for one of South Australia’s most vital service sectors. It involves travel for site management, stakeholder engagement and team leadership. • Lead and mentor a pod of Facility Asset Managers across selected South Australian areas. • Build strong relationships with government agencies, subcontractors and internal teams. • Oversee planned and breakdown maintenance and manage minor projects. • Drive operational excellence through business improvement collaboration. • Manage budgets, KPIs and ensure timely, high‑quality service delivery. • Travel for site management, stakeholder engagement and team leadership. • Work on diverse portfolios including health, education, justice and government housing. • Use VenPerks for discounts at over 450 retailers across Australia.

What You Bring
• Demonstrate proven leadership experience in facilities management or related fields. • Possess strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. • Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities. • Hold relevant trade or business qualifications (Property, FM, CM, PM) – desirable. • Maintain a current driver’s licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
