About the Role
Key duties include providing in‑depth technical expertise for engineering analysis, managing short‑term and long‑term programs that affect site operations, and ensuring work complies with design criteria, standards, and configuration management practices. The engineer will also conduct independent research, recommend new equipment or techniques, and support emergency response, outage activities, and departmental coverage as needed. • Deliver advanced engineering analysis and solutions for nuclear plant operations. • Serve as subject‑matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. • Lead and manage short‑term and long‑term engineering programs impacting site operations. • Ensure engineering work adheres to design criteria, codes, standards, and configuration‑management processes. • Conduct independent research, reviews, and studies to support technical projects. • Recommend new equipment, concepts, or techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, or address code changes. • Participate in emergency response, outage support, and departmental coverage as required.

What You Bring
The primary purpose of the position is to perform advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving to support nuclear plant operations, acting as a resource and technical expert while making key technical decisions. The role requires deep functional knowledge and familiarity with industry codes and regulations. Minimum qualifications vary by level: entry‑level engineers need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and must meet access and medical requirements; mid‑level engineers require at least two years of nuclear or related engineering experience; senior engineers need five years of nuclear or related experience. All candidates must satisfy unescorted access and medical standards. Preferred qualifications include Professional Engineer registration, an advanced technical degree, and experience with controls and automation, power systems, motor controls, protection, construction design, and digital/set‑point methodology. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear engineering and meet access/medical requirements. • Mid‑level: minimum two years of nuclear or related engineering experience; Senior: minimum five years. • Preferred: Professional Engineer license, advanced degree, and experience with controls, automation, power systems, motor controls, protection, construction design, and digital/set‑point methodology.

Salary ranges are $85,000 for entry‑level, $90,000‑$110,000 for mid‑level, and $117,000‑$143,000 for senior positions, plus the full benefits package.
