About the Role

In this role you support directional drilling for underground conduit and fiber‑optic cable installation. You operate horizontal directional bores, coordinate with drill locators, read utility locates, ensure public and utility safety, and transport heavy equipment daily. • Locate horizontal directional drill sites for underground conduit and fiber‑optic installation. • Operate horizontal directional bore in partnership with drill locator to install coax and fiber systems. • Read utility locates and coordinate daylighting of existing utilities. • Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites each day. • Ensure safety of the public and underground utility facilities.

What You Bring

Successful candidates prioritize safety, bring at least two years of urban utility directional‑drilling experience with Vermeer or Ditch Witch equipment, can read maps and diagrams, hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean record, and possess problem‑solving, teamwork, and long‑term project commitment. • Minimum 2 years of utility directional drilling experience in an urban environment. • Proficient with Vermeer or Ditch Witch drills of various sizes. • Ability to read and interpret maps, drawings, and diagrams. • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. • Strong safety focus, problem‑solving skills, and teamwork orientation. • Willingness to commit to long‑term projects and community impact.
