About the Role
How you will do it: You will troubleshoot and repair installed systems, including panel repair/reprogramming, device replacement, low‑voltage circuit issues, and system testing. You will organize technical resources, information, and materials to ensure efficient execution of tasks, program fire alarm, security, and access control panels, and submit all required documentation promptly. On‑call and after‑hours work may be required to meet customer needs. • Troubleshoot, repair, and test fire alarm, security, and access control systems • Perform panel repair/reprogramming and replace faulty devices • Document tasks, activity, and productivity reports in a timely manner • Provide on‑call and after‑hours support as needed • Maintain truck inventory to ensure rapid response to customer needs • Follow safety guidelines and uphold the Zero Harm policy • Communicate effectively with customers and team members • Work flexible hours, including weekends, and occasional overnight travel

What You Bring
What we look for: A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid CFAA certification are required. You should have at least two years of experience with fire alarm systems from various vendors, be tech‑savvy with strong Microsoft Office skills, and be able to follow verbal and written instructions and complete reports. Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb, work at heights up to 40 ft, and navigate confined spaces is essential, as is flexibility to work weekends, flexible hours, and occasional overnight travel. Excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to work both independently and in a team are also required. Preferred qualifications include the ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications, as well as bilingual proficiency in French and English. • Lift equipment/tools up to 25 lb and work at heights up to 40 ft or in confined spaces • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid CFAA certification • Minimum two years of experience with fire alarm systems from multiple vendors • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer use • Possess a valid driver’s licence that meets company requirements • Preferred: ability to read blueprints and diagrams; bilingual in French and English
