About the Role

The company is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a team of Project Managers in the Gas Services group. The role involves assisting with weekly financial reports, schedule updates, close‑out reports, and permitting packages across multiple projects, with the long‑term goal of independently managing projects. The position is hybrid but requires four days per week on‑site. • Track project schedules and deliverables, following up with team members as needed. • Maintain high‑level written and verbal communication (emails, meeting minutes, proposals, conference call documentation). • Coordinate with individuals and remote teams using technology and project management tools. • Attend internal and external project meetings as directed by the Project Manager. • Facilitate client meetings with support from NV5 Project Managers. • Track and process permit requests, submit permit packages to agencies, and update trackers. • Disseminate timely information to team members and advise on deliverable status. • Occasionally travel to Southern California job sites and attend NV5 meetings.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience working for a regulated utility or within the natural gas industry, a valid California driver’s license, and preferably a bachelor's degree in a technical field. Experience in engineering or permitting coordination, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively are also desired. • Require 1+ years experience with a regulated utility or natural gas industry. • Valid California driver’s license is mandatory. • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field preferred. • Project coordinating experience in engineering or permitting preferred. • Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to work under accelerated schedules. • Positive attitude, collaborative work style, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Compensation is hourly, ranging from $24.04 to $33.65 depending on knowledge, skills, and experience, and includes a full benefits package such as medical, dental, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) and opportunities for professional development. • Hourly pay range $24.04–$33.65, based on experience and skills. • Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k), and professional development opportunities.
