About the Role
Key responsibilities include conducting site surveys, producing detailed technical documentation, communicating clearly through reports and workshops, and providing guidance to junior staff. You will work iteratively with multidisciplinary teams, assist project leads with financial and programme management, and ensure adherence to AECOM procedures throughout the project lifecycle. • Conduct site surveys and analyses using innovative methods. • Produce and oversee technical reports, drawings, and documentation throughout project stages. • Author concise technical reports and contribute to meetings, calls, and workshops. • Mentor and develop junior staff, serving as a Chartership mentor. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance project delivery. • Assist project leads with financial and programme management tasks. • Apply AECOM procedures consistently across projects. • Prepare LVIAs, TVIAs, and evidence‑based documents following best practice. • Manage project finances, reporting, and programme schedules. • Maintain a UK driving licence for site visits. • Leverage AECOM’s compensation, benefits, and well‑being programs. • Participate in AECOM’s Disability Confident interview scheme if applicable.

What You Bring
We welcome candidates with broad experience in landscape planning and assessment, especially in energy transition sectors such as wind, solar, hydrogen, nuclear, storage, and grid connections, as well as residential and defence projects. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong technical skills, a drive for innovative and cost‑effective solutions, and a commitment to mentoring and continuous learning. Applicants must be technically competent in preparing LVIAs, TVIAs, and evidence‑based documents, possess solid knowledge of the UK planning system for landscape architecture, and understand project financial control and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and GIS/BIM tools such as ArcGIS, Revit, or ProjectWise is advantageous. We require a Landscape Institute‑accredited bachelor’s, diploma, or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI). A valid UK driving licence is needed for remote site visits. • Demonstrate knowledge of the UK planning system for landscape architecture. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite proficiently; use AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud (preferred). • Work with GIS and BIM tools such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civils 3D, Revit, LSS, or ProjectWise. • Hold a Landscape Institute‑accredited degree (BSc, Diploma, or MSc) in Landscape Architecture. • Be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
