About the Role
The supervisor will perform daily safety audits, address hazards, support 5S, document and resolve internal and external quality issues, monitor line pace, manage production stoppages, review schedules, plan for absences, ensure staffing levels, eliminate waste, track morale, communicate changes, and participate in rapid problem‑solving and improvement events. • Conduct daily safety audits and promptly address hazards. • Lead problem‑solving to eliminate safety, internal, and external quality issues. • Support 5S initiatives and monitor line takt times to meet production targets. • Manage production schedules, staffing, and absenteeism to ensure goal achievement. • Implement waste‑reduction and efficiency improvements. • Track team morale, coach KPI metrics, and conduct performance evaluations. • Participate in hiring, cross‑training, and continuous improvement events. • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a high school diploma, at least two years of production team‑leader experience, strong leadership and communication skills, organizational ability, proficiency with MS Word and Excel, maintaining confidentiality, and a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. Preferred qualifications comprise an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or business, five years of production leadership, and formal Lean training. Physical requirements involve standing or sitting for a full 10‑hour shift and lifting up to 40 lb. • Communicate changes effectively and drive rapid daily problem solving. • Maintain confidentiality and proficiency with MS Word and Excel. • Meet physical demands: stand 10‑hour shifts, lift up to 40 lb.
