About the Role
The Quality Engineer Apprentice role is based on‑site in Leeds and is part of a Level 6 UK Degree Apprenticeship Programme with a salary of £23,000. The mission is to ensure products meet customer requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing lines, supporting Schneider Electric's digital manufacturing solutions and operational excellence. • Ensure product compliance using PFMEA, Control Plans, Poka Yoke, Jidoka, etc. • Manage complaints, deploy containment, and implement corrective and preventative actions. • Lead continuous improvement programs such as 8D, Lean Six Sigma, Red X, Kata QRCI, etc.

What You Bring
The role follows a 37.5‑hour week from Monday to Friday, with exact start and finish times set with the line manager. Essential attributes include clear technical communication and the ability to think quickly in a fast‑paced environment; desirable traits are curiosity about manufacturing processes and proficiency with continuous improvement techniques. Candidates must hold GCSEs (including Maths and English) and relevant A‑levels or equivalent qualifications; no prior experience is required, and visa sponsorship is unavailable.
