About the Role
As a Senior Plumbing Engineer you will lead design engineering, collaborate across MEP disciplines, and coordinate closely with clients, architects, vendors, contractors, and authorities. You will also establish design standards, perform fire‑suppression system selection, produce detailed drawings, manage project budgets and schedules, and mentor junior staff. • Design engineering and system design support across MEP disciplines • Interface with clients, architects, vendors, contractors, and authorities • Establish design standards and prepare calculations, reports, and specifications • Select fire suppression systems, develop preliminary designs, and write performance specifications • Conduct existing facility diligence, sustainability analyses, and feasibility reports • Produce drawings that meet client requirements and standards • Lead project management and assume responsibility for assigned projects • Perform business development activities and prepare presentations for trade organizations • Establish project budgets and schedules • Participate in QA/QC review of staff work • Mentor and train junior staff

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience) and have at least eight years of plumbing design experience, including advanced Revit skills and knowledge of NFPA 99 fire‑suppression requirements. Strong familiarity with mechanical/plumbing trades, building codes, equipment selection, hydraulic calculations, and a CPD certification (preferred) are essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience • Minimum 8 years of plumbing design experience • Proficiency with the latest version of Revit • Knowledge of fire suppression systems per NFPA 99 and project experience • Strong understanding of mechanical/plumbing trades, building codes, and documentation • Ability to independently select equipment from various manufacturers • Capability to perform fire suppression hydraulic calculations and cost estimates • Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) certification preferred
