About the Role

The Senior Property Manager (CRE) leads the property management team and oversees a sizable portfolio, acting as the primary contact for third‑party owners. The role involves developing policies, directing staff, managing budgets, cash flow, billing, reporting, tenant relations, inspections, and construction projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures. • Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for property management business • Provide overall property management leadership through policy development, program interpretation, information flow coordination, and strategy formulation • Lead Property Management staff and promote career development for property management professionals • Track budget variances and ensure smooth recovery processes • Oversee billing, including invoice payment and fund disbursement • Monitor cash flow and cash requirements with the Property Manager to ensure efficient cash use • Oversee preparation of reports, annual budgets, and owner documents per the management agreement • Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements to overhead • Maintain interface with third‑party owners, ensuring contract compliance and timely reporting • Resolve tenant relation issues to ensure satisfaction • Conduct regular property inspections with staff • Oversee construction projects with the Construction Manager, approving contracts and invoices • Ensure compliance with property management policies, codes, regulations, and government directives

What You Bring

The position operates in a professional office setting with standard equipment and requires regular travel between properties, often in varying weather conditions. Employees must be able to move between floors, climb stairs, and spend the majority of time seated or standing at a desk. • Communication proficiency (oral and written) • Problem solving/analysis • Leadership skills • Teamwork orientation • Time management skills • Financial acumen • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline (preferred) • 5+ years of real estate property management or related experience • CPM, RPA, or CSM designation • Real estate license • Strong knowledge of finance and building operations • Proven experience in managing, evaluating, developing, and motivating subordinates • Ability to manage teams of professionals, including employees and vendors • Experience analyzing and negotiating commercial leases or contract language • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $123,250 to $145,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, and paid time off. Cushman & Wakefield offers competitive pay based on location, experience, and other factors, and guarantees at least the minimum wage.
