About the Role

The Leasing Consultant role focuses on all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property, requiring on‑site presence, lead generation, tours, lease execution, and resident satisfaction initiatives. • Show and lease prospective residents, including tours, qualification and lease signing. • Generate new leads, schedule appointments and conduct follow‑up to close sales. • Complete all leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs and turn processes. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios and exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and support office, common area and model unit upkeep. • Address resident complaints, concerns and requests to ensure satisfaction. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions and newsletters. • Assist with annual marketing plan execution and continuous market surveys/analysis. • Keep thorough product knowledge of the property, competition and market conditions; prepare weekly market reports. • Deliver excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround times. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor. • Perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lb, standing for long periods and working in varying weather and temperature conditions.
