About the Role
Our Defence and Security Division within the Australian business is seeking Project Managers to lead major multidisciplinary design projects for new‑build infrastructure in Adelaide. The role, based in our Adelaide office with client‑site work in the CBD, includes leading existing and new projects while enhancing our project‑management processes to drive delivery excellence and efficiency. Relocation assistance is available for suitable candidates. • Deliver complex project scopes on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards in a heavily regulated Defence/Nuclear environment. • Lead client engagement and stakeholder communication at senior levels. • Foster collaboration across internal project teams and delivery partners. • Proactively manage issues, drive decision making, and lead resolution pathways. • Evaluate and mitigate risks for Defence clients. • Lead and support technical and quality assurance activities relating to design and safety analysis of nuclear infrastructure. • Play a leading role in developing nuclear sovereign skills in Australia, working closely with the Global nuclear practice and upskilling. • Provide mentorship to staff developing knowledge and experience in major infrastructure project delivery.

What You Bring
• 8+ years of experience leading Defence and Nuclear project delivery in building services, civil or maritime. • Tertiary qualifications relevant to project management or engineering disciplines. • Experience in civil or naval nuclear programs, radiopharmaceuticals, oil and gas or rail; applicants from other high‑hazard industries considered. • Chartered Engineer or Project Manager (preferred but not essential). • Demonstrated successful delivery of major infrastructure programmes across the full project lifecycle. • Current Australian security clearance or eligibility to obtain one. • Understanding of nuclear safety cases or heavily regulated industries such as oil and gas, rail, or pharmaceuticals.
