The Customer Support Specialist role at Republic Services involves delivering assistance to both external customers and internal teams such as Sales and Facility Operations. Responsibilities include coordinating office services like data entry, record keeping, form creation, and report preparation, while also managing order processing and correspondence to ensure satisfaction. The position acts as a hub for internal and external communications, handling phone and email traffic professionally. In this role, you will guide customers through the waste profile approval process, ensure documentation complies with all regulatory requirements, and keep customer records current. You will also support teammates by addressing operational questions, preparing shipment summaries, and facilitating the flow of accurate information across the organization. • Engage customers via telephone, electronic mail, or onsite visits to collect required waste profile data. • Assist internal teams and external clients with inquiries and issue resolution. • Help customers complete waste characterization and compile regulatory‑compliant documentation. • Keep customer profiles and contract files current and organized. • Oversee the gathering of profile and contract forms, manage deposits, handle address changes, and issue service discontinuations. • Investigate operational questions, invoice discrepancies, and data‑entry concerns. • Generate and send reports, waste shipment summaries, and manifests for mailing or electronic distribution. • Examine billing adjustments and settle invoicing disputes to secure timely payments. • Process memos, correspondence, and other paperwork accurately and promptly. • Operate standard office equipment such as scanners, copiers, calculators, computers, and fax machines.
