About the Role
Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials Australia is more than just going from A to B. Our Agi Drivers are the face of the business, delivering top‑notch customer service while making multiple deliveries each day and meeting a variety of people. No two days are the same, making the role dynamic and engaging. • Operate a concrete agitator truck and make multiple daily deliveries. • Provide on‑site customer service and interact with a wide range of clients. • Utilise advanced technology for safety, route optimisation and load tracking. • Complete a 10‑day training program before independent driving. • Maintain a clean, presentable truck as a mobile company billboard. • Receive company uniforms, PPE, and buddy support during training.

What You Bring
Drivers act as mobile customer‑service agents, interacting with diverse personalities on site, and are equipped with cutting‑edge technology for safety, route mapping and load tracking. All new hires complete a 10‑day training program before driving independently. Applicants must hold at least an HR licence (essential) and preferably have prior HR driving experience. Strong people skills, a pride in keeping the truck clean and presentable, and the ability to pass a pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol test are required. Some trucks have weight‑limit seats, so meeting specified weight criteria may be necessary for safety. • Hold a minimum HR licence; prior HR driving experience is preferred. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and enjoy varied work. • Pass pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol testing; meet any truck weight limits.

Benefits
The position is based at the Ballina Concrete Plant on the Northern NSW Coast and operates on a casual roster, typically starting between 5 am and 7 am. Drivers receive a casual hourly rate of $42.12, which includes a 25 % loading premium and is paid weekly.
