About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Maintenance, the successful candidate will ensure that all facilities and common areas are maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities include completing maintenance tasks promptly, keeping accurate records, undertaking decorating and improvement projects, conducting pre‑arrival unit checks, and responding to emergency requests efficiently. • Maintain resort facilities and common areas to the highest standards. • Complete maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently. • Keep accurate maintenance records and perform related administration. • Undertake decorating and improvement projects for units and common areas. • Conduct pre‑arrival inspections to identify defects. • Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests. • Provide effective solutions to customer problems. • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace with reasonable accommodations offered.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate possesses solid knowledge and experience in at least one trade, strong general maintenance skills, and a Level 1 health and safety certification. Excellent communication, problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to multitask under pressure are essential, as is a positive, self‑motivated attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role requires a five‑day workweek on a shift/rota schedule, including weekends and Bank Holidays, and applicants must have their own transport due to the resort’s location. • Possess experience in at least one trade and strong general maintenance skills. • Hold Level 1 health and safety certification. • Communicate clearly and listen attentively to guests and team members. • Multitask effectively, work under pressure, and remain self‑motivated. • Work a five‑day rota that includes weekends and Bank Holidays; own transport required.
