About the Role
In this position you will maintain both planned and reactive maintenance schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed SLA timeframes. You will also drive weekly team performance calls and prepare reports that support the National Secure Manager in making informed operational and contractual decisions. • Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and incidents, meeting or exceeding SLAs. • Maintain engineer utilisation at or above 85% through forecasting, scheduling, and capacity management. • Document, review, and optimise service desk and operational processes for continuous improvement. • Produce and present regular performance and utilisation reports to management. • Deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage escalations, and communicate courteously.

What You Bring
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Technical Administrator to join our team in Redditch on a full‑time basis. You will provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to our Shutters and Gates team, acting as the key point of contact for engineers, coordinating operational tasks, and ensuring outstanding customer service. The role offers an excellent opportunity for a technically minded and organised professional to make a significant impact in a fast‑paced environment. We are looking for a proactive, methodical and detail‑oriented professional with strong communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in the industrial door, automatic door, shutter or gates industry and be comfortable supporting and guiding engineers and office staff. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional travel to Arcus or client sites, so a full UK driving licence and your own car are essential. • Proven experience in the industrial door, automatic door, shutter or gates sector. • Strong leadership and coordination skills to support engineers and office staff. • Excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities in a fast‑paced environment. • Confident use of job management and scheduling software. • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
