About the Role
The Project Manager role, based on‑site in Rockford, Illinois, supports manufacturing production with a focus on casting supplier delivery. The incumbent will coordinate with suppliers, buyers, value‑stream leaders and quality teams to monitor schedules, resolve issues and ensure on‑time delivery to customers. The position is full‑time (40 hrs/week) with a salary range of $85K‑$90K and a comprehensive benefits package. • Collaborate with suppliers and buyers to assess delivery dates and resolve delays. • Develop and maintain project plans for casting suppliers to ensure timely customer delivery. • Communicate casting issues and potential risks to Value Stream Leaders and cross‑functional teams. • Partner with quality and technical departments to address supplier delivery challenges (FAIs, ECs, SRIs, work transfer scheduling). • Identify, drive, and close action items related to casting deliveries. • Track deliveries using a line‑of‑balance method.

What You Bring
Candidates need at least an associate degree plus four years of manufacturing production support experience (or six years without a degree), strong communication, urgency, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience and blueprint reading are a plus. U.S. citizenship and the ability to work in a shop‑floor environment, including lifting up to 40 lb, are required. The role offers 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off and a referral program. • Minimum associate degree with 4 years manufacturing production support experience (or 6 years without degree). • Proven ability to manage delivery timelines and remove barriers for casting initiatives. • Understanding of quality engineering and First Article Inspection processes. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred. • Strong communication, urgency, self‑motivation, and organizational skills. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints (plus). • On‑site full‑time (40 hrs) in Rockford, IL; own transportation required. • Ability to walk extensively and lift up to 40 lb in a shop‑floor environment. • No travel required; U.S. citizenship required.
