Job Highlights
About the Role
Mechanics diagnose, inspect, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a variety of diesel and CNG trucks, estimate repair costs, and adhere to standard labor repair times. They also respond to emergency breakdowns, conduct safety checks, complete documentation, and maintain a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area. • Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment • Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns • Conduct safety checks on vehicles • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards • Work in both indoor garage/shop/gas plant conditions and outdoor inclement weather, heat and humidity

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least four years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be over 18, and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. They must meet the physical demands of the job and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. The role requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, standing, and walking, with occasional sitting and balancing. Workers are regularly exposed to occupational risks such as cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, and noisy, dirty, or extreme weather conditions. • 4 years of relevant work experience • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Be over 18 years of age • Legally eligible to work in the United States • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations • Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical • Enjoy working independently and as part of a team • Determined problem solver • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing; standing, walking, grasping; occasional sitting and balancing • Exposure to dirty, odorous, noisy, extreme weather environments
