About the Role

Mechanics diagnose, inspect, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a variety of diesel and CNG trucks, estimate repair costs, and adhere to standard labor repair times. They also respond to emergency breakdowns, conduct safety checks, complete documentation, and maintain a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area. • Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment • Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns • Conduct safety checks on vehicles • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards • Work in both indoor garage/shop/gas plant conditions and outdoor inclement weather, heat and humidity

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least four years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be over 18, and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. They must meet the physical demands of the job and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. The role requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, standing, and walking, with occasional sitting and balancing.
