What You Bring

The current opportunity is for an Automatic Door Service Technician. The role involves servicing automatic, manual, swing, sliding, folding, and storefront doors, including ADA operators, door closers, pivot assemblies, and panic hardware. AAADM certification is preferred, and candidates must have at least two years of experience as an automatic‑door installer or service technician. Required knowledge includes service of various doors and control devices, carpentry‑related partition framing with metal or wood studs, and preventative maintenance of commercial door hardware. A clean driving record, strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a positive professional attitude are essential. The technician must manage multiple projects, work well under time constraints, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. Experience with manufacturers such as Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, and Assa Abloy is a plus. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong customer service orientation and adheres to processes and safety standards. • Use carpentry skills to frame partitions with metal/wood studs and install doors and windows. • Maintain a positive, professional attitude while working independently or in a team. • Possess a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. • Preferred: AAADM certification and experience with Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam, Assa Abloy.
