About the Role
Step into a leadership role where your expertise in material flow, organization, and team development directly drives production success. As a Material Handler Supervisor you will oversee daily material handling operations, ensuring accurate receiving, efficient staging, and seamless delivery to multiple production lines. The position is hands‑on, supporting Lean initiatives and collaborating with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics to keep projects moving on time and at peak efficiency. The Material Handler Supervisor is tasked with directing the material handling team, providing training, performance feedback, and ensuring adherence to Standard Work Instructions. This role maintains on‑time delivery and production efficiency while enforcing ISO 9001, environmental, and safety standards. It also serves as the primary liaison among Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics to resolve inventory‑related issues. • Supervise material handlers across multiple production lines, enforcing Standard Work Instructions and safety protocols. • Assign daily tasks based on production priorities, schedules, and manpower availability. • Train, coach, and mentor team members on material receiving, staging, kit accuracy, and documentation. • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and participate in performance evaluations. • Act as liaison between Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Inventory to resolve inventory issues. • Coordinate tracking and transportation of materials between mission‑critical facilities. • Work with Logistics to arrange transportation of materials and finished goods. • Plan and maintain supermarket zones per station requirements, applying 5S principles. • Set up supermarket areas (taping, labeling, shelving) to support process flow and visibility. • Ensure BOM items are accurately kitted, properly labeled, and delivered to the correct production area. • Identify and implement improvements in material handling efficiency, layout, and accuracy through Lean and 5S initiatives. • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. • Enforce company policies, ISO 9001, environmental, and safety standards. • Ensure team adherence to safety programs, PPE, and Stop Work Authority. • Conduct regular safety checks of material handling equipment. • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and staging area using visual controls and 5S.

What You Bring
• 3–5 years material handling, warehouse, or logistics experience (required). • 1–2 years supervisory or team‑lead experience (preferred). • Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems, Microsoft Office, and lean manufacturing principles. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. • Valid forklift certification and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report. • Ability to lift 31–45 lb frequently and 16–22 lb constantly; physical stamina for climbing, squatting, and working in various environments. • Industry awards and accreditations across construction, manufacturing, and fabrication.
