About the Role
The Territory Sales Manager – Environmental Services (ES) oversees planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the sales team that manages both non‑hazardous and hazardous waste streams. The role focuses on maximizing sales volume, driving targeted profitable growth, and professionally developing the sales staff. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive business, sales, and marketing strategies aligned with unit operating plans, leading and coaching a team of sales and administrative personnel, and conducting weekly ride‑alongs for on‑the‑job training. The manager utilizes a leading CRM tool to monitor sales funnels, implements a standardized value‑selling process, and works with business units to solve customer challenges, support bid preparation, and maintain deep knowledge of company services and pricing structures. • Develop and execute comprehensive business, sales, and marketing strategies aligned with unit operating plans. • Lead, hire, train, and coach a sales and administrative team; conduct weekly ride‑alongs for on‑the‑job training. • Manage sales performance through CRM tools, monitor funnels, and adjust tactics to meet new‑sales and retention goals. • Implement a standardized value‑selling process and drive consistent, profitable growth. • Identify talent gaps, create development plans, and foster professional advancement within the team. • Collaborate with business units to solve customer challenges, customize solutions, and support bid preparation. • Maintain deep knowledge of company services, pricing, and structures to guide sales staff. • Analyze market trends, competitive behavior, and customer needs to proactively manage the portfolio. • Review service agreements for accuracy, terms, and pricing compliance.

What You Bring
Qualifications require a minimum of three years of progressive sales experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred experience includes five years of supervising sales personnel, proficiency with business and sales software (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Salesforce), and expertise in petro‑chemical in‑plant waste management. Strong communication, time‑management, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills are essential, as is a self‑motivated, competitive mindset.

Compensation ranges from $114,800 to $157,850 annually, varying by locality, with an annual incentive bonus targeting 25% of base pay.
