About the Role
The Project Finance Manager will lead the financial structuring, modeling, and execution of Hadron Energy’s reactor deployment projects—spanning power purchase agreements (PPAs), customer financing, government partnerships, and manufacturing expansion. This individual will work closely with the CFO, Corporate Development, and Engineering teams to assess project economics, evaluate funding mechanisms, and support large-scale capital formation as Hadron transitions from prototype to commercial deployment. You will play a central role in designing the financial architecture behind Hadron’s projects, ensuring that each deployment is both economically viable and aligned with the company’s long-term growth and investor objectives. • Monitor policy, regulatory, and incentive programs (DOE, DOD, state-level energy funds) to inform financing strategy and cost optimization • Support capital planning for the company’s manufacturing and deployment pipeline, including multi-reactor program financing • Track project-level financial performance and manage updates to forecasts and reporting • Structure and analyze financing solutions for reactor deployments, including PPAs, build-own-operate models, joint ventures, and public-private partnerships • Manage financial diligence and coordinate with lenders, investors, and government partners to secure funding • Lead the development of comprehensive project finance models to assess feasibility, returns (IRR, NPV, payback), and sensitivity across multiple scenarios • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and analysis for executive leadership, the Board, and external partners • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and legal teams to align technical assumptions with financial models and project budgets • Support transaction execution for debt, equity, and hybrid financing arrangements • Evaluate project risks, contract terms, and commercial structures to optimize financing outcomes • Provide mentorship to junior finance team members and support cross-departmental collaboration

What You Bring
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Finance Manager, based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City. The position is ideal for candidates with strong financial structuring, modeling, and project development experience who are passionate about advancing clean, dispatchable nuclear energy. • 7–10 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure investment, or energy project development • Strong understanding of capital structures, debt/equity financing, and credit analysis • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage external investors, partners, and internal stakeholders • Experience negotiating and analyzing PPAs, offtake agreements, or long-term customer contracts • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and strategic clarity • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline; MBA or CFA preferred • Familiarity with energy tax credits, DOE funding programs, and incentive structures • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel or Python) and valuation techniques • Demonstrated success structuring renewable, power generation, or industrial infrastructure projects
