Job Highlights
About the Role
• Work with traffic team under Project Engineer/Manager on forecasting, analysis and design for various transportation projects. • Perform operational traffic analysis using modeling tools such as highway capacity software, micro‑simulation models, Synchro, VISSIM, Aimsun, etc. • Design traffic elements including accident analysis, mitigation strategies, signing, striping, signals, lighting and ITS components (real‑time information, adaptive control, CCTV, VMS). • Produce traffic design drawings using CAD platforms like MicroStation, AutoCAD and Guide Sign software. • Conduct safety analyses with Highway Safety Software.

What You Bring

Candidates are expected to hold a bachelor’s degree, demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, multitask across multiple projects, and actively participate in the inclusive, collaborative workplace. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil or related engineering. • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (candidates without EIT placed in Design Coordinator role and expected to obtain certification). • Experience with industry and agency standards. • Proficiency in computer‑aided design software. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
