About the Role

The Lead Engineer • Digital Twin will architect, develop, and deploy digital twin solutions for manufacturing plants, emphasizing real‑time machine state modeling, prognostics & health management (PHM), and deep integration with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platforms. The role requires expertise in digital twin frameworks, MES dataflows, and commercial platforms such as NVIDIA Omniverse, Siemens Xcelerator, PTC ThingWorx, and GE Predix. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing digital twin models for machines, lines, and entire plants, capturing operational parameters, transitions, and failure modes. The engineer will develop PHM models for predictive diagnostics and maintenance scheduling, and lead MES integration to ensure seamless data acquisition, reporting, and closed‑loop control. Collaboration with IT and OT teams is essential to deploy middleware (e.g., Kafka, HiveMQ) for scalable and secure data flows across MES, ERP, PLM, and IoT systems. The position involves evaluating, piloting, and deploying commercial digital twin platforms, leading partnerships with external vendors to accelerate adoption and demonstrate value. These initiatives support immersive visualization, comprehensive digital twin lifecycle management, IoT‑driven asset management, and industrial analytics. Continuous improvement is driven by standardizing digital twin elements across plants to ensure scalability and interoperability, while maintaining clear verbal and written communication with stakeholders. Networking across the organization helps identify critical business problems and align digital twin solutions with strategic objectives. • Design and implement real‑time digital twin models for machines, production lines, and entire plants. • Develop and integrate PHM algorithms for predictive diagnostics, maintenance scheduling, and asset lifecycle management. • Lead MES integration, ensuring seamless data flow between MES, ERP, PLM, and IoT platforms using middleware such as Kafka or HiveMQ. • Evaluate, pilot, and deploy commercial digital twin platforms (NVIDIA Omniverse, Siemens Xcelerator, PTC ThingWorx, GE Predix). • Standardize digital twin components across sites to ensure scalability and interoperability.
