About the Role

The Sr. Project Designer develops documents, drawings, and diagrams that meet client requirements and objectives. This role collaborates closely with clients and internal teams to ensure design solutions align with project goals. • Lead interior design for special or complex projects. • Review design deliverables and support quality assurance. • Onboard and train new Project Designers. • Apply expertise in space planning, materials, finishes, casework, furniture, lighting, acoustics, wayfinding, ergonomics, and human environmental behavior. • Execute full design process from concept sketch to construction start. • Perform conceptual, schematic, design development, space planning, and construction documentation with minimal oversight. • Produce mood, material, and design presentations independently. • Participate in internal and consultant meetings. • Provide extensive knowledge of FF&E vendors and resources. • Drive creativity and push design boundaries. • Coordinate audio‑visual and other specialty consultants. • Lead team efforts and delegate work to enable independent performance. • Understand and document client and stakeholder goals, budget, and required outcomes. • Collect data via programming, surveys, focus groups, charrette exercises, and benchmarking to enhance design outcomes and occupant satisfaction.

What You Bring

• Minimum four years of commercial real‑estate design experience. • Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA‑accredited program or related field, or equivalent degree with interior design certification. • Strong time management, communication, organizational and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from $55,250 to $65,000 and may vary based on factors such as geographic location, date of hire, total hours worked, job type, business line, and applicability of collective bargaining agreements; the company will not pay less than the minimum wage.
