About the Role
AECOM is hiring a Construction Project Manager to work from the Fort Lauderdale office, where the role will oversee design and permitting, coordinate with third‑party agencies, and manage design consultants and construction management deliverables. The manager will also provide status updates for program reports, evaluate construction proposals, and lead progress meetings. • Oversee design and permitting for assigned projects. • Coordinate project requirements with third‑party agencies as needed. • Manage design consultants and construction management deliverables. • Provide input for the Monthly Program Report on current status and issues. • Review and recommend approval of construction delivery proposals. • Evaluate and recommend changes or modifications to consultants and contractor scopes. • Manage deliverable reviews and resolve design consultant comments. • Review and recommend bulletins and change orders. • Provide technical management of assigned design consultant. • Chair and participate in regular progress meetings to review project status. • Attend weekly Project Coordination Meetings chaired by the Construction Manager.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a BA/BS and at least six years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking tools such as Procore or Primavera P6, an OSHA 30 certification, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline. • Hold a BA/BS and at least six years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience. • Demonstrate fluency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking systems (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6). • Possess OSHA 30 certification (preferred). • Earn a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
