About the Role

The Human Systems Integration (HSI) Specialist will be based at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, supporting the Army’s Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A). This full‑time role involves creating technical requirements, user stories, interoperability exchanges, test plans, and test data to advance intelligence modernization initiatives. • Write technical requirements, user stories, interoperability exchanges, test plans, and test data for HSI solutions. • Conduct front‑end analysis, experimental work, and define architecture, workflow, and interaction designs for new and existing systems. • Perform mission, task, and function analyses of C4ISR systems to guide alternative design decisions. • Plan and execute user needs/requirements analyses using interviews, surveys, performance testing, and lessons‑learned data. • Prepare usability metrics, conduct assessments, and apply feedback to program priorities per Army Regulations. • Develop user engagement strategies and derive requirements from user experiences. • Conduct safety and human‑error analyses using fault trees, event trees, and root‑cause analysis. • Complete job/task analyses, training systems requirements, and design embedded training systems.

What You Bring

The position can be performed in a variety of settings, including commercial or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities, depots, and proving grounds. Travel is expected to be less than 30%, potentially covering both domestic and international locations. • U.S. citizen with active Top Secret/SCI clearance; bachelor’s in HSI‑related field (or 4 years experience in lieu of degree). • Minimum 10 years HSI experience supporting product managers across seven HSI domains with expertise in user‑centered design. • Travel ≤30%, potentially including domestic and international locations.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $111,980 to $167,970 for Maryland locations, with the final rate based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal parity.
