About the Role

Drives the Clean Energy Center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through training, coordinating and conducting performance‑based Reactor Operator (RO) and Non‑Licensed Operator (NLO) training programs per Constellation’s systematic approach. Ensures training programs stay current with INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Nuclear Event Reports, NRC bulletins, design changes, regulatory updates, and training effectiveness data. Prepares and administers trainee examinations, evaluates performance in classroom, lab, OJT and simulator settings, and develops individualized training plans. Supports CEC and fleet initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness, and special projects, and participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, responding to findings. Maintains auditable training records, supervises their collection, and performs additional duties such as emergency response and outage support as directed. • Coordinate and deliver performance‑based Reactor Operator and Non‑Licensed Operator training programs. • Update training curriculum using INPO reports, NRC bulletins, design changes, and regulatory updates. • Develop, administer, and evaluate trainee examinations and individualized training plans. • Support CEC initiatives, project management, outage operations, and emergency preparedness. • Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits and prepare responses to findings. • Maintain auditable training records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.

What You Bring

Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of plant‑specific nuclear licensed operations training programs. Candidates must have either a high school diploma/GED with six years of relevant experience, an associate’s degree in a technical field with four years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related science with two years of experience in test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant operations. All qualifications meet or exceed ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standards and require appropriate access authorization and a favorable medical examination. Preferred candidates have experience in commercial nuclear training and knowledge of the systematic approach to training (SAT). • Minimum qualifications: high school/GED + 6 yr experience, associate + 4 yr, or bachelor + 2 yr in relevant power‑plant operations. • Must meet ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standards, obtain required access clearance, and pass a medical examination. • Preferred: commercial nuclear training experience and familiarity with the systematic approach to training (SAT).
