About the Role
The Shift Engineer ensures all technical services operate during the shift, manages electromechanical and utility systems with a technician team, and prepares and implements preventive maintenance programs. Regular site inspections are performed to identify risks or defects, and the engineer reviews subordinate work, provides guidance, and maintains documentation for defect liability periods, AMC/CAMC, and asset tracking. Responsibilities also include hiring, training, and developing shift engineers and maintenance staff, budgeting, monitoring SLA’s and KPI’s, managing vendor quotations and invoices, and ensuring timely renewal of agreements and payment follow‑ups. The role schedules monthly vendor meetings, drives energy‑conservation initiatives, maintains equipment history cards, and oversees safety permits, risk assessments, corrective and emergency action plans, as well as participation in evacuation drills and ERT/QRT teams. • Ensure continuous operation of electromechanical and utility services during shift. • Lead a technician team to execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and regular site inspections. • Review and guide subordinate staff, maintain asset documentation, and track AMC/CAMC agreements. • Recruit, train, and develop shift engineers and maintenance personnel. • Manage budgeting, SLA/KPI monitoring, vendor quotations, invoices, and timely contract renewals. • Conduct monthly vendor meetings, drive energy‑conservation measures, and maintain equipment history records. • Oversee safety permits, perform risk assessments, and develop corrective, preventive, and emergency response plans. • Participate in evacuation drills and serve on ERT/QRT teams.

What You Bring
Candidates should have a degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) with 5‑7 years of experience in real estate, hotel, or construction industries; residential site experience is preferred. The role requires analytical, meticulous, problem‑solving skills, good knowledge of procedures, and the ability to coordinate across teams. The position is on‑site in Pune, Maharashtra, with a 48‑hour weekly schedule reporting to the Estate Manager. • Hold a degree/diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with 5‑7 years of real‑estate/hotel/construction experience. • Demonstrate analytical, meticulous problem‑solving abilities and effective coordination across teams.
