About the Role
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary energy projects from inception to completion. • Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring successful outcomes. • Manage and plan projects across renewable generation, cable routing, and substation/switchyard sectors. • Mentor and guide project teams. • Oversee project schedules, budgets, contracts, and deliverables. • Support and manage proposals and bids for commercial opportunities. • Represent Mott MacDonald in client‑facing engagements under leadership direction. • Collaborate closely with internal business units and cross‑functional teams. • Contribute to professional‑excellence initiatives across disciplines. • Promote project visibility and success internally and externally. • Effectively manage complex, multidisciplinary teams and navigate challenging project dynamics. • Prepare and interpret technical reports and evaluate engineering solutions. • Comfortably engage in client‑facing roles with a track record of successful interactions.

What You Bring
We are expanding our team and seeking experienced Energy Project Managers to deliver high‑impact solutions for nationally recognized clients. This role offers the chance to work with industry‑leading experts on transformative energy projects across the United States. • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, project management, or a related field. • Bring at least 8 years of energy transmission/generation design and construction experience, including 3 years in project management. • Demonstrate proven leadership, project‑management, interpersonal and communication skills. • Exhibit strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. • Willingness to travel as required by client needs. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Solid understanding of industry codes, standards, and best practices.
