Civil Superintendent
Oversee civil construction activities for utility‑scale solar projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.

About the Role
• Maintain and supervise tool room and keep adequate storage • Directs solar/construction personnel and/or installation subcontractors to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications; • Drawing As-builts • Work performed around hazardous equipment. • Coordination with procurement to order civil material • Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action; • Identify testing required per projects scope of work on roads compaction and fence • Support the team with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for activities; • Coordination of personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules; • Superintendents must train crews on installation activities • Follow and implement the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy; • Coordinate and implement resources and activities necessary to maintain a safe and quality execution; • Assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance. • Advice site teams on equipment required to build Civil scope • Manage manpower needed to complete project assignment • Identify welding certification, training and experience appropriate for assignment scope; • Work performed in confined areas • Coordination with subcontractors on civil techniques and requirements • Communication with engineering parties to meet civil requirements • May have to interact with Owner’s Field Representative and outside testing agencies

What You Bring
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience supporting the constructions of major projects, preferably in the building of power stations or supply networks, or other utility-scale construction projects • Experience operating construction equipment and surveying equipment • Excessive humidity, rain, etc. • Excellent skills in MS Project or comparable project management tool, and possess strong technical aptitude, including knowledge of software development methodologies and processes • Fluent in written and spoken English and Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Travel: up to 100% as needed • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position • Knowledge of installation methods for the different civil systems in the industry • Solar PV or wind power project experience, preferred • Experience reviewing mechanical manuals of installation and design technical packages • Work performed at low and/or high elevations • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner • Strong in Microsoft Office Suite • Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player • SPCC compliance • Willingness to travel and relocate from project to project
