About the Role

The Service Engineer will report directly to the Senior Project Manager and be based in Dubai as part of the Security Systems Aftermarket team. In this role you will install, service, repair and carry out preventative maintenance on security systems while supporting the Service & Maintenance team with design and project execution. The position offers a dynamic environment that encourages development of both technical and project management skills. You will apply strong security‑systems technical knowledge to conduct site surveys, produce full dilapidation reports, inspect refrigeration components and recommend system enhancements, upgrades or replacements as needed. • Ensure efficient, cost‑effective delivery of inspection, testing and maintenance for CCTV, access control, ANPR, facial recognition, intercom, barriers and other monitoring systems. • Plan, coordinate and supervise daily activities and resources as defined in the contract agreement. • Coordinate closely with head‑office support departments to obtain required support in a timely manner. • Provide technical advice, make recommendations based on field observations and maintenance needs. • Implement consistent work methods and procedures in maintenance and engineering, suggesting improvements. • Advise on availability of materials, spares, consumables and tools to ensure smooth execution of activities. • Prepare and review performance reports, including preliminary failure and root‑cause analysis, and monitor PM program effectiveness. • Execute projects with attention to quality, health, safety and environment, liaising with the Quality & HSE manager on all aspects. • Ensure work proceeds as planned and complies with relevant legislation and regulations on site. • Submit reports on planned and completed work in accordance with the agreed scope of services.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) and at least five years of experience servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting various security systems. Candidates must be adept at producing concise reports, reading blueprints and specifications, and communicating effectively with clients, vendors and internal teams. Experience with access control, CCTV, intercom, gate barriers, intrusion systems and a clear understanding of contractual obligations are essential.
