About the Role

The Night Auditor will follow audit procedures, ensure accurate posting of charges, reconcile to the general ledger, close out shifts and the day in the reservation system, generate housekeeping and departure reports, compile daily revenue reports, calculate month‑end balances, process reservation advance deposits, perform front‑desk duties, assist guests and owners, and handle departmental typing and additional tasks as assigned. • Follow audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expenses, identifying and correcting out‑of‑balance situations • Ensure all charges are posted correctly to guest folios or master accounts with supporting documentation • Reconcile charges to the general ledger, prepare back‑up files, and close out shift and day in the reservation system • Generate housekeeping reports and print departure folios • Compile daily revenue reports and file them accordingly • Calculate month‑end account balances and submit to accounting • Process reservation advance deposits from receipt to logging and depositing funds • Perform front‑desk duties including check‑in, check‑out, and cashier procedures efficiently • Assist guests and owners with requests, delivering outstanding hospitality • Complete departmental typing tasks and additional duties assigned by management
