About the Role

The Senior Estimator will join the Data Center team to support a major hyperscale data center construction program for a global technology client. This role involves leading pre‑construction budgeting, developing estimates across lease, new‑build and mega‑campus projects, and presenting cost plans to internal and client stakeholders. The position requires coordination with design, procurement and construction teams across multiple geographic regions. • Lead preconstruction budget development and GMP pricing revisions. • Develop and refine estimates for hyperscale data center projects across multiple regions. • Present cost plans and estimates to client stakeholders and internal teams at key design milestones. • Conduct value engineering to identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising performance. • Analyze design changes, new technologies, and construction methods for cost impact. • Coordinate estimating efforts with internal teams and external consultants/vendors. • Mentor junior estimators and provide guidance on best practices and tools. • Analyze historical cost data to build benchmarking and cost model trends. • Evaluate alternative materials, systems, and construction methods for cost‑effectiveness. • Deliver life‑cycle cost models and support total cost of ownership analysis. • Participate in risk assessments and contingency planning for cost and scope changes. • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. • 5–10 years of experience in construction cost management, estimating, or preconstruction roles. • Proven ability to produce conceptual and detailed estimates for large‑scale projects. • Strong expertise in value engineering, cost analysis, and benchmarking. • Experience with mission‑critical or data‑center projects (highly desirable). • Proficiency with estimating tools such as Bluebeam, CostX, RSMeans, or similar platforms. • Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market pricing trends. • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and senior stakeholder presentations. • Capability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. • Knowledge of life‑cycle costing, total cost of ownership, and sustainability considerations (plus).
