About the Role
Key responsibilities include enhancing CDM and H&S efficiencies, providing expert guidance on legal duties, fostering trusted client relationships, and managing commissions to meet both client expectations and Turner & Townsend’s internal standards. The role also involves conducting health‑and‑safety audits, collaborating with internal teams for project consistency, and preparing pre‑construction and H&S documentation. • Improve CDM and health‑and‑safety systems and processes • Advise clients on legal responsibilities and act as Principal Designer when needed • Build and maintain trusted relationships with existing and new clients • Represent Turner & Townsend professionally in meetings, negotiations and correspondence • Manage commissions to align client expectations with company business‑management standards • Conduct health‑and‑safety performance reviews and audits for clients • Liaise proactively with SHQ and internal colleagues to ensure project consistency and profitability • Compile pre‑construction information and relevant health‑and‑safety documentation

What You Bring
Candidates must hold relevant NEBOSH certifications, a full UK driving licence, and professional memberships such as APS or GradIOSH. Significant construction industry experience, particularly with CDM regulations, strong communication, and the ability to plan and organise workload are essential. • NEBOSH Construction Certificate • Full UK driving licence • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) • GradIOSH (or equivalent) • Membership of the APS • Experience as a Principal Designer • Excellent communication skills • Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines • In‑depth knowledge of CDM regulations and construction industry practice • Experience across diverse industry sectors (desirable)
